Application of the Fissiparous Algorithm in the Design of Flexible Mixed-product Lines

چکیده
In this paper, we describe a method for designing flexible mix-product lines. The word "flexible" means product-mix flexibility. Various production plans are executed in the flexible mixed-product line. Therefore, we have to solve problems that have widely expanded search trees to design the flexible mixed-product line, but it's difficult to find optimal answers of large scale design problems. To solve these problems, we proposed a new algorithm named the Fissiparous Algorithm (FA). The FA is one of the solution methods based on the idea of genetic engineering and of the evolutionary algorithm. We represented a gene by a task and made chromosomes consisted of tasks. The FA is operated to these chromosomes and has some specific features. The validity of this design method using FA is shown through solving large scale design problems of flexible mixed-product lines.

Modelling and Scheduling Lot Streaming Flexible Flow Lines
Although lot streaming scheduling is an active research field, lot streaming flexible flow lines problems have received far less attention than classical flow shops. This paper deals with scheduling jobs in lot streaming flexible flow line problems. The paper mathematically formulates the problem by a mixed integer linear programming model. This model solves small instances to optimality. Moreo...
متن کاملA Basic Period Approach for Solving the Economic Lot and Delivery Scheduling in Flexible Flow Lines
In this paper, the problem of lot sizing, scheduling and delivery of several items in a two-stage supply chain over a finite planning horizon is studied. Single supplier via a flexible flow line production system (FFL), produces several items and delivers them directly to an assembly facility. Based on basic period (BP) strategy, a new mixed zero-one nonlinear programming model has been develop...
متن کاملThe Finite Horizon Economic Lot Scheduling in Flexible Flow Lines
This paper addresses the common cycle multi-product lot-scheduling problem in flexible flow lines (FFL) where the product demands are deterministic and constant over a finite planning horizon. Objective is minimizing the sum of setup costs, work-in-process and final products inventory holding costs per time unite while satisfying the demands without backlogging. This problem consists of a combi...

This paper considers the economic lot and delivery scheduling problem in a two-echelon supply chains, where a single supplier produces multiple components on a flexible flow line (FFL) and delivers them directly to an assembly facility (AF). The objective is to determine a cyclic schedule that minimizes the sum of transportation, setup and inventory holding costs per unit time without shortage....
